Pastor’s Biography

Pastor Andrew Williams, Jr. was born in Richmond, Virginia where he attended Triumphant Baptist Church and  graduated from Maggie L. Walker High School in 1969.  He attended Virginia State College in Petersburg, Virginia, graduated in 1974, and moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he taught Junior High School for several years. He is also a graduate of the Baltimore School of the Bible and Arlington Bible College with a B.A. Degree in Biblical Studies. He joined New Frontiers of Faith Baptist Church with his lovely wife Joyce and daughter in 1991.

He has served on the Usher Board, the Trustee Board, and  the Deacon Board.  He also served as Assistant Pastor for several years.  He was licensed and ordained into the ministry by Pastor Willie J. Williams.    In 2010, he was installed as the pastor of New Frontiers of Faith Baptist Church and currently serves in that capacity.  He has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and seeks to serve, honor and obey Him.

The Lord has inspired him to write a book entitled, “Biblical Responses to Some of the Most Asked Questions about Life.” The publication addresses some of the challenging questions of life with responses to those questions from God’s Holy Word, the Bible.  His true passion in life is equipping the saints for holy living through doctrinally-sound teaching and preaching.

He strongly believes that adhering to the precepts and concepts of God’s Word in every facet of the life experience must be the desire and goal of every child of God.   He has a love for the Word of God and lost souls for whom Christ died. His spiritual goal in life is to preach the Word, in season and out of season, and reaching out for a lost and dying world that knows not the Lord Jesus Christ in the pardoning of their sins.
